FDA – keeping an eye on cosmetics
Did somebody say the Food and Drug Administration doesn't pay any attention to cosmetics, and particularly the phthalates used in some of them? We keep hearing that from special interest groups, but guess what? -- wrong again. Connect to the FDA through the attached link to see how the FDA's on the job, including its plans to conduct a risk assessment of phthalates as used in cosmetics. If that FDA risk assessment -- like all the others in Europe and the United States to date -- again determines that phthalates are safe as used, we are confident that certain special interest groups will denounce the conclusion.
